Son dönemlerin en izlenilesi aktörü...

"Son dönemlerin" diyorum ama bu aslında benim kendisini geç keşfetmemden kaynaklanıyor. Adını ilk kez "Mar Adentro (İçimdeki Deniz)" filmi ile duymuş ama izleme fırsatı bulamamıştım.

Sonrasında geçtiğimiz yıl, pek beğenmediğim, 2007 yapımı "No Country For Old Men (İhtiyarlara Yer Yok)" filmindeki muhteşem performansı ile En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu Oscar'ını aldı. (2001 yılında da "Before Night Falls" ile yine Akademi'nin En İyi Aktör Adayı olmuş).

No Country for Old Men'deki unutulmayacak katil tiplemesi Anton Chigurh

Bu performansı gördükten sonra eski filmlerine yöneldim ama sadece 2002 yapımı "Los Lunes Al Sol (Güneşli Pazartesiler)"i izleme fırsatım oldu.

Los Lunes Al Sol'de işten atılan Santa.

Ve son olarak da Woody Allen'ın 2008 yapımı "Vicky Cristina Barcelona"sı.

Seyretme şansı bulduğum bu üç ayrı film, üç çok ayrı tipleme ve üç çok iyi performanstan sonra 1 Mart 1969 doğumlu İspanyol aktörün eski filmlerini bulup izlemek kaçınılmaz oldu.
